These eMedia titles use a security system called Digital Rights Management (DRM), which protects the copyright of the eMedia title. To read eMedia To Go, you need to register your free eMedia software.

Adobe Reader is registered by 'activating' Adobe Reader. Activation is automatic if you are using Adobe Reader 6.0.1 or higher. If you plan to use Adobe eBooks on a PDA, you will need to complete the 'Named Activation' process, using a .NET Passport or an Adobe account. For more information on activation, click here.

Mobipocket Reader assigns a unique ID, called a ‘PID’ to each device you register to protect the copyright of the book. You can register up to three copies of Mobipocket Reader at this site, allowing you to use Mobipocket eBooks on up to three machines (for example, your home PC, your work PC, and your PDA). For OverDrive Media Console, you will be prompted to perform a one-time Windows Media Player Security Upgrade on the computer to which you will download audio books. For more information on performing this upgrade, click here.
